man how much would this thing cost? the 27" display is already 1000 bucks, and this would have to be at lease 42" for people to put it in their living rooms.
Apple 27" display is 2560x1440 resolution. A 1080P TV is 1920x1080. There is a big difference in cost of the panel. Any 2560x1440 display is going to cost in the ball park that Apple's 27" is in. I paid about $1150 for my Dell U3011 (30" 2560x1600) and I am perfectly happy having paid that for the number of pixels I get. 1080P panels are a lot cheaper due to being easier to manufacturer and the fact that they sell much higher quantities than high-res panels like those in the Apple 27" or a 2560x1600 30" (economies of scale).
Though I don't think Apple is making a TV, but if they do, it better be a plasma (better picture quality than LCD).

its a calendar, it looks like what it does, with MobileMe its the exact same calendar as the one on my iPhone and iPad, now it looks the same

Lets assume I opt for a ssd hard drive and my mac ships 4 weeks from today also lets assume Lion comes out in 6 weeks. Typically apple gives the upgrade for free for anyone that purchased a mac in the last month. Would you still get the upgrade for free since you purchased the imac 6 weeks ago or is the upgrade determened by shipping date?

How bad do I really need this mouse ? I thought it might be a nice addition to my MBP but I have a logitech BT mouse which works fine. Two buttons, a scroll wheel and good battery life. Should I just save my $$$ for the next iPod ?

YES! I would love a iPhone on Sprint's everything plan. I know several people with Sprint smart phones and the service they provide is great for only $70! Choice is a good thing for the customer and if the iPhone 5 does have a global chipset, then wider availability would be the best way to go.

I just hope the rumors of possibly a bigger screen come true because going from a 4.3in screen to a 3.5in screen would be kind of hard is the only thing. 3.7-4in would be nice but I digress.

TBH, I'd rather deal with dropped calls than VZW's inability to handle data and phone calls at the same time. I had a lot of OTA programs on my Tour and Storm, and I missed about 1/4 calls that were sent to me. Most were during the working day. The worst was when my mom was frantically trying to reach me because my grandmother had to go to the ER.

I'm not sure on the credibility of OP's image. Apple has been all about making products thin and less bulky, but in reality, there is such thing as "too thin"

I tried using it w/o the case once and I thought I was going to drop it most of the time, mainly because there isn't a lot of room to hold on. With the rubber around the case, it allows for more grip, while adding thickness to the device.
On the subject of the home button, the home button on my iPod touch sometimes does not respond. I think the home button on the new iPhone should be touch sensitive, but keep the design per OP's image.
I know it may seem like I am comparing apples and oranges, but It's the truth. Sometimes you need thickness on a device so you can hold it.

Apple pays 70% straight to the record companies, which would be $0.90. If Amazon pays the same, then they have $0.21 loss before they even start. Or Amazon gets different prices than Apple, which would need some explaining.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a loss leader nor would I be surprised if different retailers had different costs associated with the products they sell. The local gas station, Wal-mart, and Costco typically don't pay the same price for the products they sell and I don't see why the online retail game would be any different.
